A Walk Space is...

An artist run space located in Garki II, Abuja, Nigeria. It places process, experience, experiment and concept at the heart of its actions and productions. The Space provides a home for artists, researchers and writers to engage with Abuja city and its people a home to gather, to rest or call to action.

A Walk Space, through its programming explores the constantly evolving self as well as examines culture and society by redirecting focus away from the easily accessible towards newer understandings of experience and reality.

Gatherings and communions

Founded in 2019 by Rahima Gambo, the space explores the essential tools of a narrative moving visual medium that includes words, images, sounds and objects to explore the role of art and artist in Nigeria.
